‘Man v. Food’ takes on Houston

There’s a new glutton for punishment willing to take on outlandish food challenges on Travel Channel’s “Man v. Food.” And Casey Webb doesn’t mind saying he’s enjoying every minute as the new host of a show that takes him throughout the country to find the best regional foods while also indulging in rather alarming eating challenges. Webb takes over for original host Adam Richman, who helmed the show for four seasons form 2008 to 2012. The rebooted series recently filmed in Houston; that episode will air Monday at 8:30 p.m. The episode showcases three great Houston culinary traditions: Tex-Mex, chicken-fried steak and burgers.
